The instructional program at Allen Park High School provides learning experiences in the areas of language arts, mathematics, science, social studies, physical education, art, life management education, career and technical education, business education, world languages, instrumental and vocal music, and computer education. The Building Trades Level I program allows students to learn the skills necessary to pursue careers in carpentry, plumbing, masonry, electricity, and heating and cooling. The Trades 1 program is followed by Level II and III courses.
Students enrolled in advanced placement classes in biology, calculus, English literature, English language,composition, chemistry, government, history, and Spanish are given the opportunity to take the Advanced Placement exam to possibly earn college credit.
