The tradition of success at Blue Valley High School continues in 2013-2014 with a recent announcement that Luke Chen, Alec Newport, and Daniel O'Toole have been named United States Presidential Scholar Candidates - one of the highes honors for high school students.
Of course, the 2013-2014 school year began with the news that EIGHT students had achieved National Merit Semifinalist status: Luke Chen, Alec Newport, Rachel Phillips, Macy Rainer, Brad Rowland, Sachi Sarwal, Adithya Sivakumar, and Ajay Subramanian.
Additionally, recognized as Commended Students were the following: Audrey Anderson, Shilpika Bajpai, Taylor Daniels, Logan Daugherty, Emma Friedlander, Zoe Krump, Daniel O'Toole, Jonathan Schloemer, Maia Schoenberg.
