BRHS, the high school for the BRRSD, has 2000+ students in grades 9-12. It is arranged in nine buildings with a main walkway between them. The school system once divided the region into two high schools, which were consolidated into one high school in September of 1995. The high school lies on the west side of Bridgewater quite close to the Bridgewater Commons Mall . Every BRHS classroom has a 27" color television from Philips, and most have an IBM compatible computer. A closed video network lets the school's Audio/Visual Team provide numerous services such as a weekly news show, an up-coming events list, and special presentations. A satellite dish linked to the school's television network provides satellite television to some classrooms and also lets satellite images and information to be analyzed by students.

Bridgewater-Raritan High School is nationally recognized as a Blue Ribbon School by the U.S. Department of Education. This award is the highest honor a school can achieve in the nation, signifying overall excellence in instructional delivery and educational environment. Our High School also holds the distinction of being one of only three New Jersey high schools to have been named a New Jersey Star School (the highest honor given by the state) and a National Blue Ribbon School.
