Colleyville Heritage High School
5401 Heritage Avenue
817-305-4700

Since opening in August, 1996 Colleyville Heritage has focused on "Excellence in Academics and Activities to include Athletics, and the Performing and Visual Arts." In its first eight years the school has created an outstanding record of achievements in each of these areas and has earned recognition at the local, area, regional, state and national level. The degree of student participation in school activities and subsequent school pride, spirit, and enthusiasm is exceptional.

A deliberate effort has been made to assure that words such as caring, concern, and compassion are terms used to describe the interaction which occurs between people in the school and its community. A sense of order and discipline are valued and each adult within the school is expected to establish high expectations in these areas, as well as all facets of the school program.

Classes are scheduled on a semester system in an alternating A/B block schedule. A semester is 18 weeks long with three 6 week reporting periods. Classes are 90 minutes in length and meet every other day. Students can earn up to eight credits per school year. Classes are scheduled on a semester system in an alternating A/B block schedule.
