Doniphan High School

The school colors are black and gold. The school mascots are the Dons and Donettes of the Mastodon.

We are called the Dons and Donettes because a colonel in the Spanish American War was a Don, and when the War was over he settled in Doniphan.
Doniphan High School has 518 students, 3 secretaries, 2 administrators, 2 counselors, and 4 teacher aides.

Two other school districts attend our high school: Lonestar and Gatewood.

These schools pay tuition for their students to attend our school.
