Duneland Lutheran High School was created by the Lutheran High School Association of Northwest Indiana, Inc. The Lutheran High School Association of Northwest Indiana was formed with the purpose of forming a regional Lutheran High school. After six years of planning, Duneland Lutheran High School opened in the fall of 2000 with twelve freshmen and sophomore students. By the third year our enrollment rose to twenty freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors. Duneland Lutheran High School is very excited to have our first graduating class in the spring of 2003. One hundred percent of our graduating seniors have been accepted to a college or university. Our anticipated enrollment for the 2003-2004 school year is 30 students. There are nine Lutheran churches in the Association at the present time. Duneland Lutheran High School is supported by individual donors, tuition, and the association churches.
