History:
In 1958, the West Wing of the Emery School was built after the prior school was torn down. This building accommodates kindergarten through fifth grades, a DDN lab, special education rooms, and two computer labs. In 1983, the North wing of the school was built. This wing accommodates a library, an Industrial Arts shop, a band room, and various other classrooms. In 1999, an East wing was added to the building. This wing contains a science lab, a lunch room, a multipurpose room, a teacher work room and two other classrooms.
Objectives :
The school should guide the individual in the development of a personality capable of adjusting themselves to the changing way of life in our American democracy and international condition. Through this, development of the individual should be encouraged toward creativeness and should acquire certain basic skills, appreciations, attitudes and fundamental values which will serve as a foundation for present and future needs of solving everyday problems.
