Etowah High School is the only high school in the Attalla City School System. Our address is 201 Case Avenue, Attalla, AL 35954. We serve the educational needs of approximately 750 students in grades 9-12. EHS was formed in 1909 and was originally part of the Etowah County School System. Our current campus was constructed in 2002-03 which is the third building in the history of EHS. Our colors are Royal Blue and White and the Blue Devil is our mascot.
The EHS faculty consists of approximately 50 highly qualified instructors and numerous support personnel. We offer electives in Art, JROTC, Keyboarding, Business Education, Health Care Occupations, Cooperative Education, Child Care, Cosmetology, Agriscience, Band, Choral, and Spanish, as well as courses in the core academic subject areas. Athletically, we field successful teams in football, baseball, boys and girls basketball, golf, softball, as well as a competitive JROTC Air Rifle Team.
