The Mission :
The faculty of Fyffe High School believes in the necessity of a statement of philosophy as a basis for the development of fundamental concepts, which will enable the student to achieve the skills necessary for him to function as a productive citizen.
The faculty realizes its responsibility to teach the basic concept of democracy; therefore, each student should have the opportunity to express his views and make his contribution to self-government; however, the student should be taught and required to respect the rights of others and abide by the regulations of school and society.
The faculty recognizes that the primary objective of the school is academic with emphasis on social and moral aspects. Realizing that non-school forces have a tremendous impact on these aspects, the faculty seeks the support and participation of the church and home to educate the whole child.
The faculty realizes that students have varied interests and abilities; therefore, the purpose of Fyffe High School should be to provide each student with experiences in the educational program that will allow him to apply the many underlying principles of each area of subject matter to all aspects of life.
