Hamlet Junior High School is made up of grades 7-9, and is one of the few junior highs remaining in North Carolina. Our school came into existence in the 1972-73 school year and has a rich history. Our motto is "Teaching the Children - Touching the Future" and our faculty work together to create an environment where all children can grow, learn and be happy and safe. Our school has been extensive academic growth during recent years and has received recognition as an exemplary school and as a North Carolina School of Distinction.
