Hercules Middle/High School is a comprehensive grade 6-12 public school serving over 2,000 students in the community of Hercules, California. Located in the suburban Refugio Valley area of Hercules, Hercules Middle/High School graduated its first senior class in June, 2003.
Today, Hercules Middle/High school continues to serve a community which values education and expects students to be competitive the national and international levels. Community support for the school is demonstrated by the creation of the Hercules Community Partnership.
It is our goal that Hercules Middle/High School will become a California and Nationally recognized distinguished school and will receive recognition for its student achievement.
Hercules Middle/High School will prepare all of its students for college entrance into four-year colleges.Starting at grade 6, all students will be engaged in preparing for higher learning.
Athletic eligibility is determined once grades appear as marks on the record. This is typically two weeks after the end of the grading period. A student shall be eligible for participation in school athletics and cheerleading if he/she is currently in five classes minimum of 25 credits, received passing grades in two or more credits of course work, and had a GPA of at least 2.0 in the previous grading period.
