It is the goal of the administrators, faculty and staff to provide wholesome, well-balanced growth and development activities for the children of this community.
Jacksboro High School will provide the types of educational experiences to insure that our graduates will have the skills to lead a useful and productive life. A wide variety of courses are offered so that our students may progress commensurate with their ability and maturity. In addition to the courses which develop a literate individual, other courses challenge our students to develop higher thinking skills. We strive at all time to also develop a set of values, good citizenship and responsibility to community, state and nation.
Each individual on the school staff will serve as a role model for our students to influence them in such a manner so as to insure that they become prepared and well-adjusted citizens of the next generation. It is imperative that all of our staff members accept this responsibility for the endless progression of passing to coming generations that which is rightfully theirs in the American educational setting.
Our Mission is to create an educational environment in which all students can learn and all teachers teach. We believe a strong school, parent, and community relationship is the foundation for achieving educational excellence. Our responsibility is to provide opportunities for the development of academic growth, while teaching citizenship and leadership skills. By promoting high expectations and seeking continual evaluation, we strive for excellence and equity. We support innovation and change if they move us toward that end.
