MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of Jackson County High School is to provide a supportive environment allowing students to reach their highest individual academic, social, physical, and mental potential by surrounding them in a safe, orderly setting with caring individuals who help develop their abilities in a climate of mutual respect.
SCHOOL PURPOSE
Jackson County High School's purpose is to provide a safe, supportive learning environment for students to pursue their academic, career, and personal goals. By providing a strong, relevant, fluid curriculum that emphasizes academic excellence, the school will facilitate the skills necessary for post-secondary education and career success. All programs at JCHS are designed to provide students opportunities to be successful, whether in academics, athletics, extracurricular activities, community service, or other areas. There is a clear focus on individual student needs as well as the overall well-being of the student body at JCHS.
