Vision:

Lebanon High School will become a nationally recognized institute of academic excellence with an emphasis on the development of the whole student.

Mission:

Lebanon High School represents a combined effort of the students, educators, parents and community to foster student growth and development for excellence.Students will accept responsibility for their education and master essential skills with teachers coaching and directing learning.
Parents and community make education a priority and are actively involved in the educational process.This effort is supported with human, physical, and fiscal resources that make achieving excellence possible.

School Goal 1:

Statement of School Goal: All Lebanon High School students will increase their reading skills across the curriculum.

Summary: The Lebanon Community School Corporation has identified literacy as an area of concentration for all schools within the district. Data gathered from the Graduation Qualifying Exam and the MAPS Test support the need for an increase in the reading level of Lebanon High School students. The Lebanon High School faculty has indicate a need to increase the reading level of all students in order to ensure a successful transition from high school to a post-secondary education or into the workforce.

Statement of School Goal: All Lebanon High School students will improve their critical reasoning skills to solve problems in all curricular areas.

Summary: The ability to critically process information at a high level was recognized by the faculty as an area that needed addressed throughout the curriculum. Data gathered from the Graduation Qualifying Exam and the MAPS Test support the need for an increase in the ability of Lebanon High School students to think critically at a high level. The Lebanon High School faculty has indicated a need to increase the critical thinking ability of all students in order to ensure a successful transition from high school to a post-secondary education or into the workforce.
