Founded in 1984, Lecanto High School is the newest and largest secondary school in the district. Lecanto High School became an authorized International Baccalaureate World School in the 2008-2009 school year. Lecanto High also offers the Lecanto School of Art, a selective program for students who want to pursue a career in the visual arts.
