The mission of Los Alamos High School is to provide our students the opportunity to meet or exceed national and state standards and to enable them to become critical thinkers, productive citizens, and life-long learners.

Los Alamos High School is a public 4-year high school with an enrollment of approximately 1200 and a faculty of approximately 90. In the 2000-2004 Accreditation by North Central Association (NCA) LAHS was given the New Mexico Public Education Department ranking of EXEMPLARY.
