About Us:
The staff of Lyle High School is proud of the commitment to provide a curriculum of engaging material aligned to state and national standards to all of its students. With a ratio of 15 students per teacher, students at Lyle enjoy small classes where teachers are able to provide extra interaction in the classroom with their students. Lyle students receive instruction delivered by teachers who are well-prepared for the day and who are available for additional assistance when needed. We believe our students deserve a teaching and support staff that is open to change and able to encourage student involvement in all aspects of school and community.
Lyle High School is listed as a bronze award winner in the "Best High Schools 2008 Search" by US News and World Report. More than 18,000 public high schools were evaluated to find the very best across the country. The top 1086 schools were placed into gold, silver or bronze medal categories. In Washington State 43 schools were selected as the best, 3 earned gold, 8 silver and 32 bronze. Congratulations to all of the staff and students for this tremendous honor!
