The Marlette High School has approximately 450 ninth through twelfth grade students. High school students are on a traditional six period schedule. Each period is 55 minutes in length.

Prior to graduation, a student must complete twenty-two credits, including three credits of English, three credits of social studies, three credits of math, three credits of science, one-half credit of BST (Business Science Technology) and one-half credit of physical education. Elective classes include business subjects, industrial arts, fine arts, foreign languages, and life management classes.

In addition to its general offerings, Marlette High School offers five advanced placement courses. Advanced placement courses, comprised of a college curriculum taught at the secondary level, can earn students college credits if requirements are met.
