A Community's Vision: A Personalized Learning Environment
Beginning in 1996, members of the community came together to discuss a solution to the rapidly increasing high school enrollment. After in-depth discussion, a set of core community values was identified. The highest priority was to maintain a sense of community. The challenge was how to retain one high school while offering our students a personalized education. After much research, the "House Concept" was adopted.
