Mission

The primary purpose of Monroe County High School (MCHS) is to provide quality education for each student's intellectual, emotional, physical, social, and cultural development.  The school strives to provide this education while recognizing that students have different talents and abilities but also knowing that each student is capable of learning.  The school must provide appropriate learning experiences and effective instruction that enables and encourages each student to reach maximum potential as a productive citizen.  Monroe County High School recognizes that society is ever changing and that its educational programs must be capable of changing in order to meet the global technological demands of today as well as the traditional needs for local, national, and world order.
