The mission of Montevallo High School is to utilize a committed staff to provide a differentiated learning environment that will meet the needs of a diverse student population in order for each student to reach his/her full potential.
We Believe :
Student learning is the chief priority for the school.
Students learn in different ways and should be provided with a variety of learning activities to accommodate differences.
Each student is a valued individual with unique physical, social, emotional and intellectual needs.
Students learn best when they are actively engaged in the learning process.
Assessments of student learning should provide students with a variety of opportunities to demonstrate their achievement.
Teachers, administrators, parents, and the community share the responsibility for advancing the school’s mission.
The commitment to continuous improvement is imperative if our school is going to enable students to become confident, self-directed lifelong learners.
