Newark High School is a 10-building, campus-style school residing on more than 50 acres in the heart of the Newark community. Enrollment averages about 1700 students, with about 150 additional students attending the Career Technical Education Center (C-TEC), also located in Newark.
The campus features a building dedicated for chemistry and physics courses, several general classroom buildings, a library/media center, an alternative school, an administrative building that also offers learning space, a performing arts center that houses a large auditorium, a large weight-training facility and a gymnasium. More than 190 teachers, counselors, librarians, educational aides, volunteers and other staff members support students throughout their education on campus.
