About Us:

North Coast is an independent study high school. It is an alternative to the comprehensive high schools within the San Dieguito Union High School District. North Coast's course of study is consistent with the district's curriculum, but it is designed for students in need of individualized attention and flexibility in scheduling. The school provides an optional way for students to acquire the skills and knowledge all students should gain, while maximizing the opportunities for students to develop the positive values of self reliance, initiative, responsibility, and creativity.

The goal of North Coast High School is to provide an educational program that:

leads to a high school diploma.

prepares eighteen-year-old students who do not graduate from high school to function successfully in the community college system.

prepares students to take and pass the California High School Proficiency Examination and/or GED tests.

gives students the opportunity to combine school with full or part-time employment.

provides the opportunity for students to continue their education while traveling or while out of the area for an extended time.
North Coast High School is not affiliated with AmericanTowns Media
