Our Mission
North Surry High School is committed to providing educational opportunities to students for success in the 21st century.
North Surry is a comprehensive high school with grades 9 through 12 and an enrollment of approximately 900 students.
We also house the North Star Academy that caters specifically to incoming freshmen to transition them successfully from middle to high school as streamlined as possible.
Both the NC Department of Public Instruction and the Southern Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools accredit NSHS.
