Mission
The Mission of CAJT is to ensure that students with mental retardation, developmental disabilities, serious physical impairments and other health problems are prepared for the world of work and adulthood.
CAJT utilizes community resources to help students build and apply skills associated with independent living such as setting up a household, working, traveling, shopping and relaxing. CAJT staff recognizes the strengths of each student and uses those strengths as building blocks for learning.
Students who attend CAJT may have a diagnosis including, but not limited to the following:
-autism
-cerebral palsy
-learning disability related to brain dysfunction
-seizure disorder
-traumatic brain injury
Students with an educational need may receive related services such as occupational therapy, physical therapy, and speech-language therapy.
