The March Habit for Highly Effective Teens is Synergize. Our student handbooks feature a Student Leadership Development Program, and each month we reflect upon one of the Highly Effective Habits. Teachers incorporate the Habit into lessons and classroom discussions, we ask students to consider the Habit in their daily actions, and poster reminders can be found around the school. Student Council also recognizes a faculty or staff nominated student each month who has exemplified the Habit. To me, this month’s Habit is about working together to create a better solution than we could alone. As our handbooks point out, “it’s not my way or your way” but the better way together.
