Safety, order and a school climate that supports learning are prerequisites to an effective educational environment.

The educational environment must instill and reinforce a common set of values that include the five core values of the Community of Caring: family, caring, respect, trust and responsibility.

The educational environment must also support the health and fitness of all students.

Peabody High School is committed to being a learning environment that addresses the educational, psychological, physical and social needs of a unique population of urban students. Within the framework of the comprehensive high school, Peabody will prepare students to take a next educational step or to enter the work force with a vocational plan and the skills to obtain a job.
