Mission Statement
The mission of Pleasant Valley Junior High School, in partnership with the family and community, is to provide the means for each student to reach his or her maximum capabilities in the intellectual, vocational, physical, creative, cultural, technological and social areas. The educational program of Pleasant Valley Junior High should encourage the exploration of many fields of interest and afford the opportunity for growth in critical thinking and the decision making process. The program should foster self-reliance, self-discipline, and a feeling of self worth as well as the recognition of the rights of others. Pleasant Valley Junior High School epitomizes the recognition of the transitional phase for students and parents from the more protective elementary setting to the searching/demanding high school climate.
