Santa Maria Joint Union High School District

Santa Maria Joint Union High School District, established in 1891 and one of the first high school districts in California. Located in the beautiful coastal community of Santa Maria, the district provides educational opportunities for students in grades 9-12. The district has three comprehensive high schools, one continuation school, and a variety of excellent alternative educational programs.

The district's Mission Statement is, To provide all students with an enriching high school experience that strives to enhance students' natural abilities, to promote the development of new capabilities, and to encourage the lifelong pursuit of wisdom and harmony as productive individuals in the community.
