Secaucus High School is among the smallest in Hudson County, New Jersey. We are proud of our diversified student body which is characteristic of a much larger school. As we enter a new century, our challenge will be to successfully meet the educational needs of our students within the confines of limited school budgets.
We are about to enter into a new era at Secaucus High as we introduce and implement block scheduling next year. The staff and parents have actively been involved in the development of the curriculum and have been afforded the opportunity to work with specialists in the field in establishing a model which we feel is best suited for the student of Secaucus. While any new process requires some period of adjustment, we're confident that our extensive preparation will minimize the problem during the early stages of implementation.
