Somers High School is a school with a positive climate, characterized by a sense of pride and mutual respect between school personnel and students. Students generally show respect for each other and the educators in the school. They view the faculty as caring, helpful and concerned. This sense of pride and respect suggests that members of the high school community are able to work together especially if increased open and active communication is initiated by and among all members of the school community.
