The mission of South Elgin High School is to provide a safe, caring learning environment which values high standards, personal integrity, personal wellness, and life-long learning. Through our emphasis on effective communication and critical thinking skills, young people prepare to become productive citizens in a global society. By employing positive behavior interventions, we are able to work with students, parents, educational services and community agencies to assist our young people with social, emotional, health, attendance and academic issues. Only by attending school regularly, maintaining good health and being academically prepared, can they reach their potential.
