Stanbery Freshman High School

Lancaster City Schools has a long history of educating generations of Lancaster residents. This history goes back to the early 1800's with private and township schools being brought into the circle that would one day be Lancaster City Schools. With much joy, some wailing and gnashing of teeth, Lancaster's children have been taught to read, write, do arithmetic and use the computer. Our young adults graduate from Lancaster High School prepared to contribute to the growth and success of Lancaster and make an impact in the global community. They could not have done this without a solid education from the dedicated teachers and staff, administrators, board members and a community that cared about building the future.
