Summerfield High School serves 254 students in grades 9-12. There are 17 teaching staff members, one full time counselor, one technology director and one media clerk. In addition, there are the following professional support staff: psychologist, school social worker and speech therapist. SHS also has a fine secretarial, food service, transportation, and custodial staff.
Summerfield Schools have established a core curriculum for its pupils at all levels that is developmentally-appropriate and aligned with the district mission, Goals 2002 and the Michigan Core Curriculum. Core curriculums have been implemented in mathematics, science, health and physical education, language arts, technology education, and social studies.
