West Greene Middle Senior High School

The Organization of West Greene Middle School includes features that historically are present in the middle school and absent in a traditional junior high school. More specifically, middle school students and teachers are organized into teams; academic courses taught by the team teachers are grouped in a block schedule; students do not elect courses that have a mastery approach, but instead attend a series of exploratory courses that are intended to introduce the student to each area. In addition, all 8th grade students attend a year-long rotation of foreign language courses that introduce them to each of the languages - French, Spanish and German
