Western Brown High School, located at 476 W. Main Street in Mt. Orab,serves all high school students in the District with an approximate enrollment of 1050. School staff includes a Principal, two Assistant Principals, two Guidance Counselors, a Librarian, a School Nurse, 50 certified and 18 classified personnel. School programs meet Ohio and federal government mandated standards.
Accredited by the Ohio Department of Education, Western Brown provides its students with a comprehensive educational program including college preparatory classes, general classes, special education classes, vocational classes and advanced placement. Western’s graduates rank among the top students in colleges and among the leaders in their chosen career fields. To showcase their accomplishments and promote academic excellence, Western Brown High School recognizes those graduates in its Academic Hall of Fame.
Western Brown students also experience much success in a variety of co-curricular and extracurricular activities. Our music and drama departments receive accolades each year, as well as successfully competing in district, state and national competitions. The mock trial team regularly competes in its state competition. Student athletes have achieved much success at Western Brown.Teams have won over 60 league championships and earned district championships in baseball, girl’s basketball, and softball.
