Westfall High School is a comprehensive high school. Our curriculum is planned to meet the needs of the student who plans to attend college as well as the student who plans to work after finishing high school. We are primarily concerned with developing the basic tools of learning. Reading, writing, mathematics, social studies, science, and arts as well as good physical and mental health are all very important to good citizenship and democratic living.
The responsibility of directing the educational program rests with the staff of the school but the students, the home, the church and other community agencies share this responsibility.
A major part of the responsibility of the student is his attitude toward study. Self-motivation is the only key to student success. Every student should plan to spend as much time studying outside of school hours as is necessary to do a successful job. Homework assignments provide the opportunities here for every student.
The educational experiences you have in high school will greatly influence your entire life. There are many opportunities here for every student.
