Winter Park High School was established in 1927 and was one of the first public schools in Orange County.The faculty is comprised of 205 teachers, including 26 Nationally Board Certified Teachers. WPHS received an ""A"" grade in eight of the last eleven years, We have earned the FHSAA Sunshine Cup All Sports Award for eight of the past thirteen years, Performing Arts consistently receive superior ratings at district and state levels.
