Wisdom serves approximately 150 students grades 7-12 employing highly qualified instructors who offer an array of courses.Courses like forensics, AP Government, fiction studies, anatomy, Biology II, and recreational science just to name a few. Courses change yearly pending student interest and need. Students graduate with 25 credits and maintaining interesting electives is a big part of what keeps students craving more learning. In the new world of one-to-one technology, every student in the middle and high school has had access to a laptop which may go home daily. We have introduced the newest technology in the form of iPads to several staff throughout the District as well. High school teachers are using Moodle or Google Docs regularly and students are accessing this online interactive learning tool to stay in touch with their teachers and missing work. Web2school has been helpful to keep parents and students informed about progress in each of their child’s classes. Most classrooms have mounted projectors and things look quite different than they did years ago. Teachers and students are excited about this new learning and keeping up with the 21st century. To continue to peak interest, Wisdom frequently has various opportunities for students depending on the year like a Healthy Cooking Club, National Honor Society, Running Club, and Art Club. There are many other clubs and sports for students to join as well.
